With over thirty years experience in civil engineering, including 25 years with Truxaw and Associates, William Truxaw has gained increasing responsibility as draftsman, surveyor, engineer, project engineer, project manager and vice president.
Recent experience includes management of public works engineering and Measure M projects for the City of Orange, County of Orange and City of Fullerton. Experience also includes seven years with Greiner Engineering as engineer, project engineer and project manager on many public works, residential, commercial and industrial projects in southern California. Designs included hillside and flatland grading, erosion control, storm drain, domestic water, reclaimed water, sewer, street improvement and sump pump design; also preparation of tentative maps, retaining wall plans and structural calculations, earthwork quantities, and cost estimates.
Contract Administration: Over six years experience in preparation, negotiation, and administration of privately and publicly funded contracts for street and grading improvements. Preparation of specifications and contract documents for private and public contracts. Construction Management: Three years experience in field management and field engineering of public agency and private sector construction projects for freeways, roadways, storm drains, grading, sewer and water systems. Mr. Truxaw also monitored the contractor's operations and directed the field survey crews.
