Overview:
For over 30 years, Truxaw and Associates has served Carl Karcher Enterprises
(CKE) in the development of more than 750 restaurant sites in four states.
The firm has also provided civil engineering and land surveying services for
their corporate headquarters in Anaheim, California as well as the Carl's
Jr. Distribution Centers in Anaheim and Manteca, California.
Project
Challenges and Solutions:
Restaurant sites are located in different cities, counties and states and are subject
to unique local standards and ordinances as well as strict CKE site development
standards. Truxaw and Associates implements CKE's requirements of restaurant development while satisfying
local code requirements.
The scope of services vary on each project and may include: ALTA Survey, boundary
survey, topographic survey, planning research, utility research, grading plans,
street plans, mapping (parcel map, lot line adjustment), cost estimating,
plan approvals, special permits, construction surveying, certifications and
as-builts
Truxaw and Associates is familiar with requirements and standards for over 375 agencies in the
western United States. We remain flexible and responsive to our client's needs
to fulfill project requirements for varying scopes of services.
CKE's schedules are quite aggressive, typically allowing less than two weeks
for plan delivery. In order to accomplish this we assigns a principal to manage each project and remain accessible throughout
the entire project. He has qualified and experienced
staff to prepare accurate project drawings and meet aggressive deadlines.
