Positions Available:

PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER (PE)

We are seeking a Professional Civil Engineer/Project Manager (PE) to join our team! The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in management of design teams and maintaining project schedules for public street and utility improvement plans as well as private site improvements.

Requirements:
• AutoCAD/Civil3D design experience required.
• Preparation of public improvement and private land development civil plans.
• Preparation of Hydrology/Hydraulic Reports.
• Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP).
• Drainage Studies and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
• California PE registration required.
• QSP/QSD Certification not required, but encouraged.
• Liaison between client and public agencies.
• Must be able to work effectively with other technical professionals.
• Project coordination with design team.
• Ensuring that the final design is in accordance with established engineering and design standards.

CAD DESIGNER/DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a highly motivated Civil/Survey CAD Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to participate in complex and high-value projects, work with multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing the quality of effectiveness, make sound decisions for the benefit of the project and the Company.

Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering design using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Communicate design approaches and decisions with supporting documentation to Project Engineers and Project Managers.
• Prepare development plans including site, street improvements, utility, and grading & drainage construction documents.
• Develop 3D grading surface models.
• Tabulate and address review comments on deliverables provided by Client, Project Engineers or Project Managers.
• Provide quality reviews of own work in accordance with Company’s quality control program and processes.
• Preparation of engineering and survey drawings from sketches, field notes, verbal description, and specifications.
• Coordination of CAD files and design with internal and external team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years prior AutoCAD and Civil3D experience.
• Relevant/similar Land Development experience, specifically commercial/industrial site development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
• Ability to prepare construction documents using good design judgment and meeting agency design guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment on multiple projects simultaneously and must be a team player.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Designer required.

IN OFFICE SENIOR LAND SURVEYOR

We’re growing and currently seek a talented and motivated IN-OFFICE SENIOR LAND SURVEYOR with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional land surveyor or equivalent experience. PLS required. In addition, a valid California Driver’s License in good standing required.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Functioning in a lead capacity to perform our most complex surveying tasks, including map preparation, boundary analysis, research of historical and official records and resolution to boundary issues and discrepancies.
• Responsible for management of projects from start to finish, including schedule, quality, and finance/budget management.
• Create client relationships and identify opportunities to pursue larger more complex projects.
• Prepare, supervise, and process subdivision maps, records of survey, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, lot line adjustments, legal descriptions and exhibits, and other related matters.
• Supervision and communication with field crews and coordination with Project Managers.
• Prepare project approach, setup and execute mapping tasks.
• Prepare proposals and estimates.
• Construction surveys and staking calculations.

You must:
• Be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in California.
• Be familiar with all aspect of boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, construction staking, and as-built survey techniques.
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience independently solving complex mapping or engineering problems.
• Have strong boundary analysis and boundary determination skills and be able to work effectively with other technical professionals.
